Ready for pilot

Keep spam and fake mail away.

Every incoming message goes through sender verification and content and virus scanning. Look-alike domains and impersonation attempts are flagged; suspicious mail waits in quarantine.

The filter learns from your decisions: just mark "Junk" or "Not junk".

Suspicious mail goes to quarantine or Junk according to your organization's policy; an admin can release it.

Protection in layers.

From the moment a connection opens to the moment you read the message.

  • Connection and reputation

Per-IP rate limits, reverse DNS and HELO checks, reputation lists. Mail is accepted only for recipients that exist, and address-guessing attempts are counted.

  • Sender verification

SPF, DKIM, DMARC and ARC are checked, and the sending domain's DMARC policy is applied. The reading pane states the result in one line.

  • Content and attachments

Spam score, link reputation, phishing rules and virus scanning. Executable and double-extension attachments are blocked, and you are warned about macro documents.

  • Account security

Two-step verification, app passwords, brute-force protection with temporary lockout, sessions and devices, and an alert for sign-ins from a new device.

Your organization sets the rules.

In the admin dashboard you set the spam threshold, quarantine period, attachment policy and external sender banner for your organization. You can also require two-step verification for everyone.

  • Spam threshold and quarantine period
  • Attachment policy and message size limit
  • External sender banner: a visible warning on mail from outside your organization
  • Organization-wide allow and block lists
  • Preview, release and allow the sender of quarantined mail
  • Required two-step verification; turning IMAP and SMTP access on or off

Frequently asked questions

Can the Mühür Mail team read my messages?

No. Platform admins don't see message content; support access is limited to metadata. A review that needs content is done only with the user's explicit permission and is logged.

What if an important message ends up in Junk?

Marking it "Not junk" moves it to the inbox and trains the filter; add the sender to your allow list to always receive their mail. Your admin releases messages held in quarantine.

Why don't images in a message load right away?

Remote images and tracking pixels can tell the sender when you opened a message. Images don't load until you choose "Show images"; for senders you trust, choose "Always from this sender".
